| Working at Nissan Pavilion: As many of you may know, this summer I've been working at Nissan Pavilion as a VIP usher and have had all sorts of adventures. The most interesting one came from working the Kenny Chesney show a few weeks ago. I had never been to a country show and it was a counterculture I had never encountered. Cowboy hats and drunk shirtless men everywhere. But the highlight of the show came when I had to break up a fight. (there sure are a lot of fights at these country shows, goes with the country way I suppose) There were like 5 guys beating some poor sob on the ground with lawnchairs. By the time we broke it up, the guy was all bloody. He looked up at us and smiled, saying, "don't worry about it, they wuz friends of mine. It was my fawlt." Ah, Manassas... |
