| A weekend away in San Francisco is a nice break from Los Angeles. My friend Littlecountrygirl, who I met during my days in London, is moving to Vienna in a few weeks and it was nice to catch up before she left. The temperature never got above 65 degrees and the sun only came out right before I caught the BART train back to the Oakland airport, which felt refreshing compared to the dry heat and bright sunshine I've gotten used to. Along with the weather, the town has a different feel to it than Los Angeles; less gaudy glamour and more public transportation. |
