I always meant to catch a football game before I graduated and after the long drive to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena I was reminded why I hadn’t gone yet. But the game against Arizona State was the last home game before the annual crazy UCLA vs USC showdown, so I just had to check it out. It was a charged game in the eight dollar student section, with drunken frat boys a plenty. The Bruins never fell behind and came through with a 45-35 victory, increasing their record to 8-1. Rah! Rah! Rah!
