| Beth and I consolidated our lives from Burke and Vienna into a cozy little apartment in the Courthouse neighborhood of Arlington. At the end of January the warm spell held out just long enough for us to move on a sunny Sunday with temps in the 60’s. With help from my brother and other friends things went smoothly. January moves can be tricky with the minimal sunshine and low temps so we were pretty lucky. A few weeks of assembling Ikea furniture and breaking down boxes were to follow, but the move from suburbia to the more cosmopolitan metro accessible Arlington has so far been a joy. |
