Every year the die hard fans of the movie The Big Lebowski get together for a weekend to watch the movie and bowl. The stars of the movie show up for pics and there's also a costume festival and bands. This year the viewing was in the Knitting Factory, next to the Kodak theatre where the streets were closed down for the Academy Awards. I didn't make it to Long Beach on Saturday for the bowling, but enjoyed being able to go to a bar in a bathrobe, just like the "Dude" Lebowski.
