Updates and Happenings
| My new car!-This summer I finally ditched the Neon and got a fab nused Jeep Cherokee. Some of y'all may remember how much I used to rant about SUVs; guess I've changed. I'm always moving stuff around and getting muddy, so it's the perfect car for me. No more legs cramping up after driving back from runs. Out of my way, I'm driving an SUV! | ![]() |
Movie Reviews in brief
| SPY KIDS 3-D: I'm the person who tends to dispise "kid" movies all the way from the PG rated previews (thanks a lot South Park) all the way to the Hallmark ending. But when I do eventually get around to having kids, I hope that there are flicks like this. The premise is that ex-fed kid agent Juni Cortez must go into a tron-esque world (where everything is thankfully in shades of blue and red to ease the effects of the glasses) to rescue his sister Carmen. All the while he works with other online kids to get to the mysterious level 5 to defeat the Toymaster. (none other than Slyvester Stallone) The cameos are what else helps to make this movie besides trippy effects, with appearances by Antonio Banderas (Juni's father) and Ricardo Montalban (Juni's grandfather) So if you and the boys don't have anything better to do around 4:20, check it out. |
